Who We Are
A strong sense of community, team work and professionalism is what brings Chaffey Aged Care together to provide person centred care and excellence through leadership, innovation and best practice for the residents that live with us.
Chaffey Aged Care officially opened its doors and welcomed its first residents in September 2007.. In 2012 an additional 17 beds were added. In December 2017 we completed a further major construction project with a further 22 beds added bringing the total number of beds to 100. We now accommodate 100 residential aged care places catering to the needs of permanent, respite and palliative residents from our community and surrounds.
A new state of the art laundry was also added along with a gym, a refurbished kitchen and staffroom, new furnishings and a café. The café provides a wonderful new experience for residents and their visitors as well as staff and community members and has been a great success.
As an organisation we are proud of the care which our staff provide. We value respect, compassion, dignity and integrity and apply these values in the delivery of care and services to our residents.
We welcome inspections of our home for prospective residents. Our dedicated staff will be able to answer all your questions about residential aged care.
What We Offer
Chaffey Aged Care specialises in caring for our regions elderly and is one of the largest Residential Aged Care facilities in the region with a strong reputation for providing quality care and a sense of community. We believe in person centred care and our focus is to make a difference to every resident, every day.
Care comes in many different formats and with a friendly, dedicated and professional team of qualified registered nurses, enrolled nurses and personal carers and now our own Allied Health professionals providing Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy pain management and mobility assessment for our residents. All of our staff a dedicated to achieving positive outcomes for our residents and managing their changing care needs. Chaffey Aged Care provides the highest standard of care in the following areas – High Needs Care, Dementia Specific Care, Low Needs Care and Respite Care.
Living at Chaffey Aged Care is like a home away from home, residents are encouraged to personalise their private bedrooms which overlook the landscaped courtyards or the many beautiful garden spaces that surround the facility as well as a local vineyard and the Merbein common.
There is always an array of activities or an event for residents to get involved in. Our wonderful home style cooked meals are served in our newly extended and refurbished main dining room, with magnificent views overlooking the river flats and newly landscaped gardens.
